Our environment naturally shapes who we become, and as they say, Nigeria happens to everyone. In such a situation, it becomes essential to truly know yourself.

Self-awareness is the journey of discovering your purpose and fulfillment. It begins with understanding your roots, where you come from, the legacy you inherit, and the values that shaped your family. These are not just historical details; they are the moral compass that guides your decisions and defines your sense of belonging. 

Knowing yourself means recognizing your worth beyond what society labels you as. You are not your mistakes, your fears, or your limitations; you are full of talent, potential, and live to fulfill divine purpose.

To know yourself is to believe in your capacity to grow, to achieve, and to stand tall in the face of doubt. Confidence is not arrogance, it is quiet assurance in your identity and abilities. It is the inner voice that says, “I can,” even when others say you cannot. Do not allow people’s opinions to define your possibilities. When you know who you are, their judgments lose strength over your destiny.

Work on your strengths, refine your skills, and nurture your talents with diligence and humility. Self-discovery is not a one-time event but a lifelong journey of learning, unlearning, and becoming. It calls for reflection, honesty, and courage to confront your weaknesses while celebrating your progress. True success is not found in imitation but in authenticity.

To know yourself is to live deliberately, in purpose and driven by conviction. It is to walk through life with clarity, resilience, and grace, knowing that your identity is your greatest asset. 

Stand firm in who you are, remember where you came from, and never stop becoming who you were meant to be. The world does not need another copy; it needs you, in your truest form. Be real. Every man has an Identity. Your identity is who you are. 

If you have lost your sense of identity, it’s not too late. Take time to reflect and meditate, it will return. Walk in your destiny and divine purpose, and you will find true happiness. May God help you.
