*Make Your Choice: Love or Hate* _Thoughts of Life!_

Our world revolves around two powerful forces, love and hate. The choice we make between them defines who we are and shapes the destiny of our nation. Today, our society has tilted dangerously toward hate, tribalism, ethnic profiling, and bitter division have taken deep root. We see hate in politics, in churches, in families, and even in the workplace. Yet, the Bible says, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love” (1 John 4:8). How then can we claim to love God when we hate our brother or sister created in His image?

In our nation, we have given one another bad names just to destroy, forgetting that diversity is not a curse but our collective strength. God made us different so that we might complement, not condemn one another. Hate has blinded many hearts and hardened many souls, turning neighbours into enemies. “How can a house divided against itself stand?” (Mark 3:25). A hateful nation cannot prosper; a hateful people cannot progress.

Love, on the other hand, heals and builds. It is patient, forgiving, and kind (1 Corinthians 13:4–7). Love binds the wounds that hate has caused. It restores peace and unity in the land. Those who plant seeds of hate will one day answer before God, for He searches the heart.

It is time for repentance. Let love reign again in our homes, churches, and communities. Let tribes, tongues, and nations speak one language, the language of love. God’s standard has not changed; He still commands, “Love your neighbour as yourself” (Mark 12:31).

Choose wisely. Choose love, for hate destroys but love saves. When we walk in love, we walk with God, and only then can our nation truly rise again.

Love can heal us again. Love is beautiful, and it makes us true children of God. Remember, we are not perfect, yet God still loves us in our imperfect state. No tribe is perfect, no human is flawless, we are all striving toward perfection.

We can overcome the temptation of hate. Say no to evil politicians who divide us for their selfish gain. Say no to those who plant seeds of hatred among us. It is time to rise and start planting seeds of love instead.

As for me, I choose love and I urge you to do the same. Make your choice wisely, and remember: every choice you make, whether good or bad, carries its consequences. Choose love, and you choose life.

We improve by learning.
