Our world is obsessed with so much noise and showmanship. The true path to greatness is often hidden in silence. Many want to shine before their time, yet the Bible reminds us in Ecclesiastes 3:1 that “to everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.” When you show yourself too early, you expose your dreams to the winds of distraction and envy. Every great destiny has an incubation period, a time of learning, building, and growing in secret. Just as a house without a solid foundation cannot withstand the storm. Success without preparation cannot endure the test of time.

We live in an age where many measure success by noise, not by impact. Some with a little wealth shout to the world that they have arrived, forgetting that true wealth is silent. As Dr. Cosmas Maduka once said, “Real wealth doesn’t make noise, it makes impact.” Proverbs 13:11 teaches, “Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.” Quiet progress, guided by knowledge and discipline, is far more powerful than loud appearances without depth.The danger of forced glory is real. Rising without foundation leads to a fall before the race even begins. 

Great wealthy men are not just wealthy themselves but they create wealth that last generations by leading people and showing them the way. As they say, follow who know road. Jesus didn’t just feed the disciples fish; He showed them where to cast their nets (Luke 5:4–6). That is knowledge guiding blessing. True greatness is not in impressing people but in lifting others, in teaching them to fish, in building a community where many rise together. L

Life is not about parties or fleeting applause, it is about legacy, impact, and obedience to God’s principles. Stay calm, stay grounded, and let your growth mature in silence. When your foundation is strong, your shine will last, and your success will speak for itself. We are truly lifted by lifting others. As we reflect on this piece, are you part of the system that wants to subdue rather than lift? meditate and ask God for direction. Nobody can stop you except you stop yourself. Humility, discipline and knowledge are what you learn in the school of incubation; so to truly shine and be the eagle. People should see you as the eagle not you telling them you are the eagle. Your values, impact will speak ahead of you.
